Age verification policy

juicychat.io covers an explicitly adult platform. Access is limited to adults, and the age gate exists to make that limit clear before any coverage loads.

Who may use this site

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that is higher, to use juicychat.io. The site discusses NSFW AI chat and adult content in an editorial context and is not suitable for minors.

How the age gate works

On your first visit a confirmation dialog asks you to confirm you are 18 or older. If you confirm, a single flag is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key jci_age_ok so you are not asked again on that device. If you indicate you are under 18, you are sent away from the site. The check is client-side and stores no personal information — only that one yes/no flag, on your device.

Resetting or clearing it

Clearing your browser's site data for juicychat.io removes the jci_age_ok flag, and the gate will appear again on your next visit. Because the flag is per-device and per-browser, it does not follow you to other devices.

What this gate is and is not

It is an honest, standard adult-content notice appropriate for editorial material about an 18+ platform. It is not a government-grade identity check, and this site does not collect ID. The JuicyChat AI platform runs its own age verification for access to its adult content; that is separate from this notice.

For parents and guardians

If minors have access to your device, tools such as operating-system parental controls and network-level content filtering are the effective way to restrict adult sites. Research from Common Sense Media and Stanford's Brainstorm Lab rates AI companions unsafe for minors without guardrails, which is why the 18+ limit here is firm.
